Rural Women in Entrepreneurship

Each month, the Rural Women in Entrepreneurship group inside the Startup Colorado Community gathers to have a virtual networking conversation. This hour is casual, fun, and easy to drop into. We talk about what we’re currently working on, share our stories, and pool our resources to help each other get to that ‘next step’ on the long entrepreneurial road ahead.
The format is simple:
- 5-10 minute talk from our rotating co-host on their entrepreneurial journey
- Brief 1:1 breakout with another community member
- Any given month, we’ll experiment with different engagement exercises (like Lean Coffee)
- Come and meet fellow women entrepreneurs from all over the state to discuss current topics and trends in business
About our co-host:
Jessi Burg, founder of Outgrow Your Garage, has always had a passion for accessible education and inclusivity. With a Master’s Degree in leadership and nearly ten years of entrepreneurial experience, she turns business theory into operational practice to support small business growth and build resilient communities.
